Admissions

 

The school accepts NO DONATION for admissions to any class. The parents are warned to not give any donation to any third party in the name of donation to the school. Any effort on the part of the parents to give donation to secure admission will automatically entail disqualification.

The new admission to Nursery begins from the second week of February and ends when the given seats are filled. The child should have completed three years and six months by June 15th, the re-opening day of the school. The parent/ guardian should produce birth and caste certificates of the child at the time of admission. For admission to other classes, transfer certificate with progress report is compulsory.

 

Withdrawals

The parent/ guardian shall make an application for a Transfer Certificate writing to the Headmaster in advance

Th T.C will be issued only after all dues are cleared.

 

School Rules and Regulations

 

The Headmaster reserves the right to dismiss any student from the school whose conduct is against the moral tone of the school. Immorality in word or deed, willful damage to the school property, grave insubordination, contempt of authority, unsatisfactory progress in studies, lack of diligence and the like are sufficient reasons for the dismissal. Parents have to accept the judgment of the Headmaster is such matters as final.

Continuous absence of a pupil for fifteen working days without leave application will result in his/ her removal from the school. Hence his/ her name will be struck off from the rolls. Irregular attendance and habitual disobedience are again sufficient reasons for dismissal of a student.

Fighting, beating, using of a bad words etc, will be considered as serious offence and such students will be dismissed from the school with or without prior notice.

The Headmaster reserves the right to withhold a student from attending the school and to determine the period of suspension depending on the gravity of situation.

 

Dismissal and Suspension

   DO'S:- For Students....


  • Punctuality, neatness, uniform, courtesy, consideration for others and co-operative spirit are insisted upon.
  • Speak only in English.
  • Every student should have a copy of the school diary and must be brought it to school every day.
  • No absentees and late comers will be admitted to the class without Headmaster's permission.
  • Student must be in the school premises by 9.00 a.m.
  • Assembly is compulsory for all. Exception is granted by the Headmaster.
  • Those who want to go for lunch, they should take Lunch Pass.
  • Keep the school premises, class room clean and tidy.
  • Students should be responsible for their books and belongings.
  • After the assembly strict silence must be observed in the class room
  • Come to school in the school uniform only except on birthday.
  • Keep your nails trimmed and teeth clean.
  • Leave letter must be counter signed by the parent. If the child is absent more than 3 days bring the parent.
  • In the absence of teacher, class leader must maintain discipline.
  •  

       DONT'S:- For Students....

     

  • Do not come late.
  • Don't leave the school without permission.
  • Don't be absent without leave permission.
  • Don't play in the school building.
  • Running, screaming, shouting should be avoided.
  • Don't damage furniture, walls and other school properties.
  • Don't go out of the school during the intervals.
  • Don't bring gold and valuable articles.

ATTENDANCE

Regular attendance is an important element for academic excellence. So no leave is granted except for serious reasons, and that too, only on the basis of written application from the parent/ guardian. Whenever a leave has been sanctioned that shall be recorded by the class teacher in the leave page.In case pupil comes late to the class it shall be marked in the ‘Late Comer’s Record’for the information of the parent/ guardian.

 

EXAMINATIONS, PROMOTIONS AND REWARDS


  • Formative Assessment (F.A)& Summative Assessment (S.A) examinations are conducted periodically. A progress report keeps the parents informed of the performance of their children. Those who lack seventy 70% of the attendance will not be allowed to appear for the SA-II Examinations and they will be detained.
  • No examination will be taken either before or after the scheduled time. The student absent for any examination will be considered failed.
  • Grade / position in the final result shall be determined by the Formative and Summative examinations. A student will have to score at least 28 marks out of 80 / 35 out of 100. FA marks will be added only if they get 28 marks in each subject.
  • By all means, malpractice in examination will be penalized be detention. One will not be allowed to continue in the same class for a third time.
  •  Absence for any subject in an examination excludes a student from being reckoned in the order of the merit or rank in the examination.

LIBRARY


  • Books issued must be returned or may be reissued within fifteen days of the date of issue failing which a fine of rupee one per day will be charged.
  • The students should handle the books very carefully. The students will be responsible for any damage or loss of books
